The idea is to quickly explain how we provide ADSL/VDSL broadband access to the Internet in France, and especially in the area around THK (the uplink for the event is one of such Internet access), then to discuss about the advantages and problems, and why so few DIY access seem to exist elsewhere.
Is there a "cultural" barrier ? Or just a "market" one ? With maybe very few countries with a regulation allowing community networks to provide Internet access this way.
